small lidded pot with fluted sides

These delicate looking pots are glazed in a wood ash glaze I make myself. The glaze breaks beautifully over the ridges created by the fluting. Each pot is unique.

Ash glaze made at The Priory

I love this subtle glaze made from a mixture of woods that have turned to a useful dust in our wood burner. It has a creamy green tinge to it and breaks brown on the fluted ridges.

You might find a use for a pot like this or you might just want to handle it.
